Spring Cleaning + House Reunion Dinner

Spring Cleaning + House Reunion Dinner

House cleaning

Spent the entire sunday doing spring cleaning, the first time that we did it for YSS. Started clearing out the storeroom to create more space and also keep the cramped space tidy. A lot of time was spent opening up the many boxes to see what's inside, and then decide on what to throw away and what to keep.

We also decided to change the entrance shelf display; replacing the Japan theme to a Horse theme - with 5 figurine of horses (of various styles - Egyptian, Japanese, Chinese, Dutch and English) to usher in the year of the Horse. I also kept some of the paintings and rearranged the rest to give the space a new look. This was followed up with the washing of the corridor and staircase area, and then, the rest of the house.

I decided to scrub away the black marks on the various walls of the house.

All in all, it was a good cleaning day. We ended the day with a nice early reunion dinner with lo hei, home cooked prawn noodles and spiced apple sour. Of course Tigger had his share of a full canned cat food.
