:: A Dream and A Blackout ::

I remembered the dream that I had last night.
I was in this unfamiliar house - inside one of the bedrooms on the upper level.
I looked out of the bedroom window; I could see another house across the road.
In fact, I could look through the house's window and see through the house.
Such that I saw the row of trees on the other side of the house.
There was no one in the other house.
Suddenly, I was in the bathroom, having a shower.
The bathroom had a design from the eighties; old but functional.
I got changed and then headed to my car. However, the car turned out
To be different from the car that I currently have. It was an Honda Integra-like vehicle.
I was shocked, however, as it was heavily remodded, with a garish spoiler.
And a totally repulsive bumper and racing stickers all around.
I think the dream continued to unfold, but I was roused from my slumber
By the intense heat in the bedroom. Apparently the entire block in my neighbourhood
Had a power failure since 2-ish in the morning. I woke up at 4-ish am.
The power eventually returned at about 5-ish am. I managed to catch a wink thereafter.
But as usual, the remnants of the dream, remain, where dreams are.
Ever elusive; ever transient.
