(no subject)

It's been a while since I took the train.

For the usual commute, I take buses and cabs. When it's convenient I'll take buses. And when it's inconvenient, I'll take cabs. But when there's a long queue for cabs, I'll try my luck with buses again. Something in me resists calling for a cab. Even though I could easily justify a called-cab ride from the savings from not having a car. Somehow it just doesn't happen. Like spending $36 for a GV Gold Class ticket.

I can't do that.

It's 7:35 and I'm moving towards Simei. I actually managed to find a seat. The train is not packed. Perhaps it's a Friday; the office crowd remains in the city for pre-V dinners and then some more.

I don't see many execs in business wear either. Perhaps it's dress down Friday. Or perhaps they don't take public transport. The public transport users are rather multi-cultural.

I could write some more but I've reached my stop.

Eunos mrt wor.. :)

i actually prefer train over buses as their timing are more "regular". It can be extremely frustrating to wait for buses... when the wait can often be longer than the journey itself!

i love the buses too especially with my iphone on...

yup, now i know whether to stroll or brisk walk to the bus stop on the way to work! :)

Eunos.. Du Du Du Du...
my mrt station also haha

Same same.

I have a thing for bus rides, especially long journeys and those that travel onto the expressways. Train rides can be a little annoying at times, especially in the work weekdays. Yet the irony is that I take the subway more, cause it is a matter of convenience. Life as it is.

OKAY...I will do the asking.
So who stays in Tampines? ;P

i wonder if u felt like u r in 'little shenzhen' when u step into the train...
