:: Before and After ::

A quick trip to the NS40 exhibition got me
Fascinated with this 'Before and After' display.

I recall myself fastidiously
Arranging in order the SOP items
During my BMT and OCS days.
We would take hours ensuring that
The bunk was in a "tip-top" condition
Especially for the stand-by-bed prior to
Booking out.

That was so long ago.
That was more than a decade ago.

On another note,
This weekly livejournalling has been a
Weekly event since the year 2000.
Reading back my entries, I see variations
In the way I write. While I was forthcoming
In the past, my entries have grown to be more
Cryptic, with time.

And less entries as well.
Perhaps this is due to the fact that I've been
Doing the usual pen-and-paper journalling
For the past two years, and hence certain milestones
Of my life have been omitted.

I wonder,
For these seven years of livejournalling
While many have come and gone
From this virtual world of blogging,
Who has remained, faithfully lj-ing,
Till this very day?

Well i look back at my initial blog and found out i have been blogging for 4 yrs already!

And such funny and happy entries back then

I think i used to be a much happier man then

is just a way 2 pass time for me....
I've learnt that life isn't really that much interesting as it seemingly promised to be able to offer....

I've been very very loyal to LJ!

I have been ljing for a mere 2 plus years only...the rest of the other 3 years was spent at blogspot..urgh...those were the days...LOL!

I definitely am still doing it, religiously in fact.

LJ is like the best and worst thing ever in my life.

livejournal... or any other journal for that matter is like a promise you keep to yourself... waiting to be fulfilled...

sporadic 9 years for me

i left after i realized i wasn't bloggin for myself anymore. and the temptation to be someone else surfaced. it wasn't pretty.

so now i just comment and post rubbish

besides, i'm more a man of the present than the past.

what has made you gone to the NS40 exhibition?

it does bring back memories....(NS40)

And thinking back makes u want to go back there again, right?

time flies when you stop to look at it...

me me me!! since like er.. 4 years ago? i cant remember. but hey, i dont write every day. unfortunately.

Wow... hours to make sure it's in a standby condition. I've enlisted for 5 weeks already btw! :)
