:: Table Sixty Five ::

Oyster omelette, barbecued stingray and salted vegetable duck soup
Morsels shared between characters of a past chapter
As the pages flipped back in time
The stories came alive once more
Of past times. At the zoo, at changi and at robin close.
The reunion affirmed that the sum was greater than its parts.
"You've got to leave for your mahjong game."
We waved goodbye to our memories and flipped the pages forth
To our chapters. To our books.
But they do linger, like the scent of a cherished moment
That follows the trail of our own nostalgia.
Glad I used a bookmark.

Our life reads like a book, each chapter contains events and thoughts which we have gone through, learnt some lessons and some retained fond memories and experiences. We move on to the next chapter for a new experience, armed with a stronger will and more perceptive of things.

its nice to flip back the pages to remind ourselves of the past as well...cuz wat came from the past..leads to the future

dum de dum..
i think someone forgot my bookmark.

"The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there." - Leslie P. Hartley.
