:: Seafood @ Chinatown ::

Surely this must be the path to heaven!
Amidst the hustle and bustle of the chattering crowd,
Prawns, crabs, the shelled ones were cooked via all possible means;
From the basket to the chopping board; to the BBQ pit and then onto the plates.
Everyone here was entitled to be hungry, and they feasted like there was no tomorrow.
As the cars and the taxis whizzed past the packed alley, and the tuk-tuks touted for business,
Chunky ice cubes were lifted from the metal bin onto small glasses filled with Chang beer,
And the beer was gulped with tasty morsel of seafood in between. The happy diners were
Oblivious to the scraps of food dropped onto the tarmac, much to the delight of the sewer cockroaches.
But there was no menace. There is always enough food for everyone.
And the filth? Everyone's too busy to bother about filth.
Myself included.
