Fruitful day.

Had a really great afternoon having this lunch-dinner at David and Stephanie's humble abode. David's half chinese and half english while Stephanie's Italian. They've got a lovely daughter Chiara who's simply adorable. David was a great host and showed us around the Victorian house and Stephanie served us champagne that Nigel brought. Shortly after, Fiona (Nigel's younger sister) and Derek arrived. Then Marcos arrived too. We then had a really lovely 3-course meal complete with red wine and sweets after that. The kind of english gathering that warms the heart and soul as well.

Stephanie showed me her wedding album. They were married 9 years ago, in Italy. And somehow, I could feel the joy and bliss emanating from the aged pictures. (and I saw young Nigel with his red nose). And I thought about settling down and marriage and kids and where I stood in it all.

It was an eventful day today. I got to know Nigel even better, and it was definitely worth more than a casual visit to the London's places of interests. It's sorta like going to a museum. Some people will rush through all the exhibits, take all the pictures and that's it. However, others would allocate the same amount of time on only a certain few exhibits and take the effort to learn, study and understand the exhibits. I think I've settled for the latter, and I'm glad I did it.
