Monday's a hectic day at work. Sub-boss announced the shift in management, and I was to assume a relatively senior appointment. That means having more people under my charge, and more responsibilities. I welcome it as a positive challenge, and having Knowledge Management under my charge gives me plenty of room to learn and implement ideas.
Finally met up with JJ. Picked her up at Capital Towers and dined at Breeks Restaurant. Originally wanted to go to Esplanade to look see look see, but decided against it after contemplating the hefty dinner bill at Esplanade. Didn't take any extra servings, but the walnut brownies with hot chocolate fudge was simply too enticing and I went for two servings. After that, we did some window-shopping before I sent her back and came home myself. Was playing Diana Krall's Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas and realised it was just a month away from Christmas. So fast so fast. It's been eleven months since I wrote my first LJ too. So much has changed.
It's fascinating how one action creates countless reactions that generates reactions themselves. Life can never be straightforward. It's like the multitude of ripples that trace in the waters after a stone is thrown in it. Nobody can forecast the future. It's the mystery that makes living exciting.
